Brandon Vaughn

Dr. Brandon Vaughn is the owner and founder of Vaughn Physical Therapy. A graduate of The Citadel, he received his Bachelor of Science Degree in Exercise Science in 2007 with high honors. He then completed his graduate work at The University of South Carolina where he earned his Doctor of Physical Therapy in 2010. Brandon furthered his specialized training by earning certifications in Spinal Manipulation, Dry Needling, the Functional Movement Screen (FMS), and most recently became an NSCA Certified Strength and Conditioning Specialist (CSCS).

Dr. Vaughn is an active member of the APTA, South Carolina Physical Therapy Association (SCAPTA). He also serves as a clinical and associated instructor in the University Of South Carolina DPT program. Brandon has practiced in outpatient orthopedics his entire career, treating patients of all ages and diagnoses. He has worked with many patients referred from several of South Carolina’s top orthopedic surgeons over the years. Brandon has also rehabilitated several professional athletes including NFL players and Olympians at the highest level.

Brandon specializes in a variety of manual therapy treatments for orthopedic conditions of the neck and back, as well as post-surgical rehabilitation and sports rehab. His experience and education supports his evaluation and implementation of specialized treatment plans based on an individual need. He is an advocate for empowering and educating his patients for improved long-term results.

Outside of the office, Brandon enjoys spending time with his wife Rachael, a local speech language pathologist. He also enjoys triathlons, weightlifting, and Gamecock football.
